First-Person Brawler from South East Games

If you think you’ve heard the name Paint The Town Red you’d be right. This game came out to Early Access in 2015, loved by over 400,000 consistent players, this game finally comes out of Early Access and lands on most platforms on July 29th. The game will be available for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 and 5, alongside the debut for 1.0 on Steam.

A roguelike Beneath mode, where eldritch horrors and undead terrors act are your ‘Overlords’. Pick from five classes with distinct stats and abilities to uncover the mysteries of this shifting, procedurally generated world. You’ll have to use all your might using the Spectre and Vanguard classes to defeat the four Elder Gods.

In Scenarios mode, cause mayhem in sandboxes where brawlers must kill ’em all and let the Elder Gods sort them out. In the Arena, fight to the death with an endless mode! Use modifiers to make it harder or easier, and even enable SUPERHOT mode with all it’s disco demolition beauty.

Paint the Town Red also offers a built-in level editor and full Steam Workshop support for those on PC. The PC-exclusive online co-op mode brings 4 brawlers together to pummel the Elder Gods or make a mess in Scenarios.

Paint The Town Red features gory tactile combat that comes from a simple voxel-based graphic. Highly energetic, with a good competitive feel as well as the beauty of Roguelike games. Put this one on your list as it’ll be a co-op game for the year.

From the indie developer South East Games comes Paint the Town Red single-player or co-op, you can’t go wrong with checking this game out. ‘Paint the Town Red’ also supports French, Italian, German, Spanish, Arabic, Bulgarian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Greek, Hungarian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese and Portuguese (Brazil specific), Romanian, Russian, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Swedish, Thai, Turkish and Ukrainian languages in-game.
