The Sims 4 Console release?

A lot of simmers have been hoping and wondering when The Sims 4  would finally hit the console. Some even lost the hope that it would ever happen.

There is no word on if the Nintendo Switch or the PlayStation 4 will be getting The Sims 4 yet or not, but with the game coming to the Xbox One, this does bring hope that PS will more than likely also get a release. The Sims 4 is expected to release on November 17, 2017– just in time for Christmas. If you pre-order the game, then you will be able to play early as of Nov 14, 2017. Pricing has yet to be mentioned. As of right now, there is no mention of a PlayStation 4 or Nintendo Switch game on the way, but they might not be far behind if EA keeps the pattern they have from the past console versions of The Sims.

There has been no official announcement from EA, but the fact that the Microsoft Store has it available for pre-order and mentions the release date legitimizes the rumors. EA will more than likely give an official announcement soon enough. Hopefully the official announcement will also offer more details. Players have commented that they hope that the console version lives up to the graphical standards of the PC version.

  • How do I put this? I am not one for the Sim console games, never tried them partly because I think it would just be awkward due to the PC versions being so different. I am super happy that sim players will have a chance to play it on console! I have heard many of my viewers say they can;t play it because their PC can’t handle it and they hope it would come out for console! So, here is hoping it is everything they hope for.
