One more great feature about this graphics card is it can run handle DirectX 12 so you can get up to +50 FPS (Frames per second). If you are looking for a budget graphics card this holiday season then this is the one.

The RX 470 has a factory overclock of 1270 MHz but that is customizable which is recommended by some of the reviews I have read about the Rx 470. The Radeon Rx 470 is direct X 11 compatible with a patented dual wing-blade 0db fans that minimize airflow by 30% cooler and 3x the quieter gameplay. So I think that this would make a great holiday gift this season.
MSI Gaming Geforce GTX 1060 6 GB

The MSI gaming Geforce GTX 1060 is a great graphics card to get this season. My current system uses the Windforce GeForce GTX 1060 3gb but I have fallen in love with a graphics card. The MSI gaming GeForce GTX 1060 6 GB is a great choice because that is can support 4k monitors. The GTX 1060 6 GB comes with one DVI-D port, one HDMI, and three display ports. This would a great mid range graphic card for your gaming needs.
EVGA Geforce GTX 1070

The Evga Geforce GTX 1070 is one of the higher-end graphic cards out there but for what it can do it is worth the price. The GTX 1070 is base clocked at 1594 MHz but can be boosted to 1784 MHz. The GTX 1070 can run longer and play with the ACX 3.0 cooling. It can handle the ultimate 4K gaming up to 120 MHz + Gsync. If what you want is a graphics card that can handle DirectX 12 and 4K gaming then the EVGA Geforce GTX 1070 is the graphics card for you.

The EVGA Geforce GTX 1080 is another great buy and probably the most expensive card on this list this holiday season. This graphics card has some great this things about that makes it the card to get this season. The GTX 1080 is based clocked at 1721 MHz but can be boost clocked up to 1860 MHz. The GTX 1080 has adjustable RGB Led lighting using the EVGA precision software. The GTX 1080 also has 10 power phases which means it has 10 different power modes to choose from to optimize its performance. This is the best graphics card you could pick up this season but it has a hefty price tag. If there is a serious gamer on your list and it is in your budget this is the card for them.
