Although an in-person PAX event isn’t scheduled to take place until sometime in September, we do have PAX Online, which kicks off today and ends on July 18th. During that time frame, a number of panels will take place, celebrating all things in gaming and just plain having a good time.
Playing video games is easy, but what about playing video games to make a difference? Child’s Play Charity has been making a name for itself over the years, with gamers raising millions of dollars for sick kids. In this panel, you’ll learn more about the importance of the task, and how you can take part in this year’s Extra Life event, happening later this year!
What’s more fun than playing the Jackbox Party Pack with friends? Playing Jackbox Party Pack with thousands of friends! Take part in a number of game sessions and watch some truly savvy players go at it in this tour-de-force of a game stream. Oh, and bring your A-game. You’ll need it.
Although there’s not a huge show floor to explore them on, there are a number of sweet indie games making their debut during PAX Online. So which ones are worth your time? Check out this panel to get the lowdown!
Pan Chicken & Potholes: The Rocky Road of Jamaican Game Dev
If you’re an up and coming game developer and really want to hear a motivational story about how to get into your beloved craft, this is a must-see panel. Featuring a number of devs talking about building something from the ground up, it’s sure to please you in many ways. Also, it’s Jamaica! Who doesn’t like Jamaica? (We know Harley sure does.)
What are the best Nintendo games out there? F-Zero? StarFox? Metroid?! During this panel, some of the best industry people out there will discuss their choices and why they’re so important. And to think, it’s right after The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD arrives on Nintendo Switch.
Tell you what, Sin and Punishment better be in there somewhere. *grumble*
